Temp has gone from -21 to -13 in the last 2 hours (5am to 7am). A wee bit blustery as well.
It was -29 at 9 pm.

The weather has been really messed up lately...
Have you been noticing all the storms lately? Right across north america, this whole winter so far has been non-stop storms coast to coast to coast to coast, especially in the past 3 weeks. Saskatchewan was been hit by 3 separate blizzard systems in the few days I was out of town. Crazy.

I don't pay much attention to weather patterns as I no longer provide weather briefings at work. I have, however, seen a lot of weather comments on facebook.
The weather has been relatively calm over the winter, up here in the northwest but the arctic coast got walloped with some big storms over the last few days. We keep getting some pieces of it. Plus any aircraft above 500ft are getting very dangerous wind shear and some powerful low level winds. I'm far enough inland and we have enough terrain (dinky hills) to reduce the effects of many of the ocean storms.
Sounds rough though.

I haven't seen any yet... it's been really cloudy around here most of the past few months. I remember the sun came out a couple weeks back and I was thinking "wth... something weird out here, I just can't place what's different..."

Ah the sun, must have been a nice change then. I think we are supposed to get sunrise tomorrow. I think it's been a good 8 weeks since I have seen it and it will probably be a couple of more until I finally do.
