Country Music

thenorthedge's picture

I say with pride that I enjoy country music. I really started to listen once I got my first truck (I miss you '86 Ranger).

Anyone who has a problem with that had better be pretty nimble, I have a bigger truck now and I tend to stop noticing pedestrians when they slag Dolly and Kenny!

:P

gasp!

northedge, are you a whoopknacker?

I have no idea. What is one?

I have no idea. What is one?

Gol dang it! He done gone and been a whoopknacker!

I remember this term coming

I remember this term coming up before. Darned if I have a clue though.

uhhh

Dolly and Kenny Who????

The classics, of course :P

Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers

oh

I thought maybe you were talking about a couple talk-show hosts or something like that there.

One thing I really liked

One thing I really liked about country music (it doesn't hold quite so true these days) was that the singer's voice on the CD was pretty much their real voice, without enhancement. A live performance would sound pretty much like a CD.
